Well, if you have been wondering what it’s going to look like when the patented, American made Silca System grates–one of the most versatile construction materials in the country—are covered with brick pavers, then you are in luck because today we have a sneak peek, and more proof that no matter what kind of deck or patio project you’re considering, Silca System will work for you!

You can clearly see in the photo that the pool itself is not perfectly round, but that presents no challenge to Silca Grate™. If the pool had been perfectly round, the grates could have easily been cut to hug the curves without issue. Judging by the white edging around the top of the pool, this one is a polygon, which required the Silca Grate to be trimmed and shaped in order to fit snuggly around each corner. There are no gaps in the pool deck subflooring or underlayment that would compromise its structural integrity, and the grate is still strong enough to exceed your expectations, as well as most codes.
