The Massillon Gun Range at AJ Harris Tactical Outside Louisville Offers Concealed Carry Courses and More

The summer months are a great time to get out of the house and do something fun or learn something new. At The Massillon Gun Range at AJ Harris Tactical, individuals from across the region can do a bit of both. In fact, this local gun range and full service gun store in Massillon, Ohio is hosting an array of great events this month for individuals to participate in. One event that they’ll be hosting this month is their Bowling Pin Shoot. Every Thursday from 7PM to 8PM, experienced shooters are able to participate in this event at The Massillon Gun Range at AJ Harris Tactical where bowling pins are the targets. For female shooters, Ladies Night is hosted every Wednesday after 5pm at this local gun range.

Of course, The Massillon Gun Range at AJ Harris Tactical also provides meeting dates for certain groups during the month of July.  In fact, IDPA League Meets at this full service gun store in Massillon will be held on Saturday, July 16th and July 30th from 7PM to 8PM for experienced shooters. The Well Armed Woman of Stark County Chapter Meeting and Shoot will also be held at this location on Thursday, July 21st from 6PM to 8PM. This chapter meeting is also held every 3rd Thursday of every month for added convenience.

To participate in this course, individuals will need the following materials:

  • Ammunition (100 Rounds)
  • Eye Protection
  • Hearing Protection
  • Cleaning Kit

Regardless of whether individuals are signing up for a beginner, intermediate, or advanced class, it’s important that they pay a visit to this full service gun store in Massillon with a valid driver’s license to prepay for the class and reserve their seat before the event.

Although The Massillon Gun Range at AJ Harris Tactical offers 8 different firearms classes at their location, their concealed carry course is one of their most popular. Like their other courses, individuals are required to have certain materials to participate and must pay for their class before the date – July 23rd— to guarantee a seat.

Although this concealed carry course runs from 8AM to 4PM on this date, there is a lot that is taught during this course and will need to be demonstrated before the course can be completed. Some of these things include:

  • Proper handgun and ammunition storage
  • Safe handling practices of handguns and ammunition
  • The skills and attitude necessary to shoot a handgun safely

Upon completing this course, individuals will receive their concealed carry application, a 2×2 photo of themselves, and their certification of completion for the course. Best of all, this CCW course is available for the low cost of $65.00 before tax. If a handgun and ammunition is needed, the cost of the class will be an additional $35 before tax.

Even many of their events –including their Zombie Shoot every first Tuesday of every month from 7PM to 8PM—are available other dates throughout the year so more individuals from North Canton, Louisville, Canal Fulton, and beyond can participate on a date that is more convenient for them.
