For instance, this nearby art gallery is proud to announce that they’re currently hosting winning pieces from the NOIS illustration contest. The theme of the Northern Ohio Illustrators Society art show is “Selfies.” The Art Gallery is very excited about this art exhibit as it’s filled with some exceedingly creative selfies! Local artist Laura Dumm, third prize winner, created “The Selfie Then and Now.” The second prize winner, Milan Kekman, created “Portrait of the Artist as a Young/Old Man”—a piece in which half of the portrait is his older self, while the other half is an older version. Gerry Shamray, the first prize winner, had one of the scariest selfies—a clown with a mirror in his mouth.
