All applicants must have a twenty hour OPOTA firearm certification or the ability to acquire one within the first sixty days of the hiring process. If applying for a position within Elite Security’s trained staff isn’t for you but you still want to learn how to properly protect yourself, Elite Secutrity’s self protection classes can help you. Elite Security provides concealed carry weapon and women’s self defense classes. The concealed carry weapon courses are NRA basic pistol classes. Each of the concealed weapon classes are seventy five dollars to enter and are held every other Saturday from seven am to seven pm. All Local Regional Chamber of Commerce Members, their employees, and their families receive a $10 discount per person! Each student is required to provide their own valid drivers license, fifty rounds of ammunition, and ear and eye protection. Firearms are available for $10 if you need to rent a firearm for your course. Elite Security also offers women’s self defense courses beginning October 21st. Four courses will be offered to the community and costs only $20 to enroll. Each self defense course is held Saturday’s from noon to four pm.
