Dale McCutcheon’s Martial Arts Academy was founded by Mr. Dale McCutcheon in 1976. Since then, he’s been helping children find a love for martial arts with the custom martial arts programs he has created. From 1987 to present, Mr. McCutcheon has served as the State of Ohio Director and The United States Director for the PKC and was the United States Karate Team Coach from 1990-2001. Mr. McCutcheon has won over one thousand awards from all over the world in competition. During the 1980s and 1990s, Mr. McCutcheon was a National Champion in Self-Defense and Sparring for multiple years as well as a World Champion in these same areas. During this time frame, he was in charge of the American Kickboxing Division of the Professional Karate Commission (PKC) and trained all the Ringside Officials throughout the United States. Throughout his tenure, American Kickboxing received higher ratings than College Football with World Champions such as Joe Lewis, Bill Wallace, and Bad Brad Hefton competing.  In 1997, Mr. McCutcheon won his first titles at the World Cup in Hungary.
