Ohio-Based MDS Baseball Bats Sponsors High School Baseball Showcases throughout the Midwest

Over the past two months, the Midwestern U.S. has been a hot spot for high school baseball players looking to demonstrate their talent in front of college and pro scouts. With several special events highlighting baseball training and game performance, the best Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana high school players were given the opportunity to meet with fellow athletes and participate in the sport they hope to turn into a career. As both the Crossroads Baseball Series and Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association North-South All-Star Series drew sponsors and scouts from across the country, players not only had the chance to display their abilities in front of professionals, but to take advantage of offerings from baseball bat manufacturers such as MDS Baseball Bats. A fervent supporter of such high school baseball showcases, MDS Baseball Bats was present at each of these events in order to show their products and explain the benefits of using quality wooden baseball bats. By contributing to these well-respected exposure events and providing major league-style baseball bats, MDS Baseball Bats helped players improve their equipment and their game.

Held during the month of June, the Crossroads Baseball Series consisted of statewide events at Wright State in Ohio, Michigan State in Michigan, Illinois State in Illinois and Indiana University in Indiana that allowed junior and senior athletes to play in front of and hopefully be discovered by college recruits. As sponsors such as MDS Baseball Bats were given the chance to set up booths at each of these high school baseball showcases, players and parents were free to ask questions and get additional information about the advantages of using quality wooden baseball bats. Understanding the importance of having strong, durable equipment for their sport, MDS representatives were happy to discuss their major league-quality baseball bats and how they can be used for both baseball training and regular games. At the end of the event, the athletes were pleased to receive their own handcrafted bats from MDS Baseball Bats for future use.

Along with supporting this Midwestern U.S. high school baseball showcase, MDS Baseball Bats also acted as a sponsor for the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association North-South All-Star Series at Wabash College. Featuring the state’s top outgoing seniors, a few of which have already been drafted, this 3-game event allowed players to compete against the best of the best. Out of the three games played during this July showcase, one was played solely with wooden bats, allowing athletes to test out the major league baseball bats crafted by MDS. After feeling the solid weight, slim grip and easy swing of these quality wooden baseball bats, players were all the more excited that this baseball bat manufacturer gifted each participant with their very own bat.

MDS Baseball Bats was honored to be a part of these high school baseball showcase events as it gave the company the chance to observe the future stars of baseball and share the advantages of using quality wooden baseball bats. While the players in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana were fortunate enough to meet with representatives from this baseball bat manufacturer, they’re not the only ones who can benefit from the expertly-crafted major league baseball bats they offer. Amateur and professional players throughout the country are encouraged to visit MDS Baseball Bat’s website at www.mdsbaseballbats.com to learn more about their products and how each one is crafted for optimum performance.
